Is Killzone 3 good??(discussion)

The game shines very well with its technical component – everything is very beautiful, even today. But at the same time, for half the game we are poked with our faces into gray, tasteless locations, in order to occasionally give the engine and artists a chance to run wild on some mission, like a sniper run through the jungle or final scenes in futuristic scenery.

But the rest of the game raises a lot of questions. Especially to the plot and in general to the actions on the screen in general. Sometimes you catch yourself thinking that you absolutely don’t understand the meaning of the unfolding cut scenes – the heroes decide something, yell at each other, change their plans on the fly, and you don’t understand their motivation at all and wonder why we are now suddenly switching from plan A to plan B. The relationships between the characters also seemed completely false to me and even funny in places.

The scene with the https://sportingbet-casino.uk/games/ captain, who over and over again withdrew the earthling troops, and then suddenly changed his mind, after a two-minute conversation with two subordinates (which boiled down to a couple of phrases in the spirit of “We don’t care about your orders – either help, or don’t interfere”), frankly caused a small chuckle.

You only believe Dr. Stahl – this is truly a colorful and lively character. It’s a shame he’s the only one for the entire game.At times, the plot seems to revolve around his quest to take power into his own hands, with the global conflict of two races hanging out in the background. The protagonists are generally typical military templates – brave soldiers are faithful to duty, but if something happens they can risk their asses to save a couple of people whom the command gave up on in the name of the success of the mission.

There will also be complaints about the gameplay itself. The enemies here tend to withstand almost half a machine gun clip (this is on normal difficulty). At the same time, nothing prevents them from “putting” you down in one and a half crazy queues. If you are injured, your partners periodically have the habit of yelling “I’ll heal you now” 3 times!”, being a couple of meters away from you, and then suddenly conclude “I won’t be able to come closer!"and our hero, with hatred in his eyes, rolls back to the nearest checkpoint. The AI generally behaves funny – it either acts very intelligently, completely unexpectedly for the player, finding a loophole and finding itself in the rear, then suddenly decides to lower the iq of the entire location.

I played through the game on “normal” and in total hit the ground with my face almost a hundred times. This is despite the fact that in the shooter genre I can hardly call myself a rogue. You die here, sometimes, because of very strange things – while flying on a spaceship, where you fly at the behest of scripts and control only a turret with a VERY limited firing radius, you can easily be destroyed by guns on an enemy ship that are out of your reach. Episodes with different techniques, in theory, are designed to diversify the gameplay and excite the player with vigorous action. In fact, sometimes you have to watch a series of ridiculous deaths for some unknown reason, until you memorize where the enemy is coming from and learn to shoot everyone down almost instantly.

Because of all these shortcomings, replay value drops to zero. To be honest, I went through the last 2 missions with force and involuntarily caught myself thinking that, perhaps, I have never been so happy about the final credits. By the way, even here they managed to spoil the raspberries – there’s no way to skip the credits – sit and look at the list of people who managed to stuff an absolutely average and passable joke, albeit with a couple of interesting solutions, into the wrapper of a hyped mega-exclusive, which, I must admit, was drooling at first.

Well, in general this is more of a topic for discussion, rather than the desire to show everyone your “important opinion”. Share, friends, how do you feel about this game??
And from me it’s a “passover”, tomorrow I’ll go with peace of mind to exchange the disk in the nearest store specialized for this.

Is there a need for an age limit at all??

I was thinking, I remembered one incident. I’m standing, eavesdropping on a conversation between two children who are 9-10 years old. (or even 8 I don’t remember anymore) They talk, of course, about games. One hastily puts forward some kind of games, the other says that they are for children… O_O, period. He seems to like something like dead space. Come on, come on. PEGI 18+ not? The mentality of these guys… Well, except for the fact that the one who loves dead space is a representative of a rudimentary schoolboy, then everything is fine with the mentality.
But really, who needs these restrictions?? They are not profitable for both publishers and children who want to play those games. Parents often do not monitor their children due to absence
time because they don’t care. Or maybe they don’t see anything bad in games.
CoD can be easily downloaded from Steam (after purchase, I mean) The age limit system is simply excellent! I can first enter that I’m 5 years old, then I’ll reload the Steam page, and now I’m already 25, and Steam believes me! Origin doesn’t even have that.
And what prevents them from downloading from all sorts of torrents and routers?? NOTHING!
So, in my opinion, there is no point in such a restriction. The child will download it anyway if he wants! And he will play while his parents are not at home. The only way out in this situation is to cut off the fucking Internet. And at the same time, he can take a disk (although in our electronic times it’s not very relevant… But still) from his classmates.
So we get the following picture:
1 Nobody gives a damn about the age limit
2 If someone wants to download something that is not appropriate for their age, then they will do it.
3 If, let’s say, children don’t pick up bad words or expressions in games, they will do it, say, while walking down the street (Yes, every 6th person they meet swears)
And is it necessary?? What do you think?
P.S. I wrote it very confusingly, I hope the meaning is clear.

Dead Space

The fact that parents are not aware of what their beloved child is doing is not a problem with PEGI, ESRB or anyone else, but a problem with the parents.
And so… well, I would suggest selling soft drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and all kinds of condoms to children. And even give out free samples. If we equate them to adults.

www.softportal.com/software-16746-kindergate-oditelskij-ontrol.html – KinderGate Parental Control – an application that gives parents the opportunity to control their children’s Internet access. The program implements options for filtering web resources by category, and also has the ability to block Internet resources both manually and automatically. The filtering module contains an updated database that includes more than 500 million Internet resources, which makes it possible to protect a child from unwanted Internet content.
windows.microsoft.com/ru-RU/windows7/products/features/parental-controls – and if you also use standard Windows parental controls, then they will never run CoD and Dead Space 3.
Yes you can hack it. But while they’re hacking, at least they’re learning something. And put the correct answers to passwords from textbooks on mathematics, literature, history, etc.d. Until you learn it, why don’t you sit at the computer?.

Children are born pure, innocent, smart. As life progresses, they become dumber, begin to drink, smoke, betray, and generally indulge in all sorts of vices.
Conclusion: Children cannot live. Children are spoiled by life.

Remember your childhood. Didn’t you trample the snow with measured steps, pretending to be a thunderous terminator?? Didn’t you run around the yard with sticks and snowballs, pretending to be some partisans, Ninja Turtles or someone else?? Everyone dreamed of becoming some kind of corsair sailing the sea, a commander on the battlefield, or, at worst, a Battle Ranger (GO-GO-GO POWER RANGERS) Ahem… Yes. What’s the salt?. We met our heroes from films, books and TV. And they were all very impressionable, weren’t they?? And the kids are still the same. They are impressionable. I’m not saying that after playing Manhunt, a young man will go to strangle his friends with a plastic bag, but still, oh how it will be reflected in his brain. It’s one thing when you spend your childhood in the media world, surrounded by various kind and bright Leo Bonifaces. And it’s another thing when Necromorphs and gay Shepards are circling around you all the time.

And answering the question about the rating system – yes, it is needed. If in our Mother Royce it is customary to not give a damn about such trifles, then we can remember Australia, where until recently games with a +18 rating were not published at all. And you know, somehow the kids don’t play GTA downloaded from torrents at every turn.

If, let’s say, children don’t https://slots-n-play.co.uk/login/ pick up bad words or expressions in games, they will do it, say, while walking down the street (Yes, every 6th person they meet swears)

The logic is simply amazing.
* If sooner or later everyone dies, let’s speed up the process.
Do you know what they call people who allow themselves to swear in the presence of their children?? *I would say, but I’m afraid even a spoiler won’t save you*. So I don’t need “Every 6th person swears, so let’s swear everywhere” (that’s exactly the wording you have written right now).
And in general, the world would be cleaner if each of us had a mother standing over our shoulder.

This is now based on what is said? Based on watching two hundred episodes of “Let Them Talk” about drinking mothers and single fathers? Those “parents” who don’t look after their children – *I would say it again, but again even a spoiler won’t save you*. If their main task is to feed, put on shoes and put their child to bed, then, blah, blah blah, they’re not even “parents.”. Well, or I’m just the rarest lucky person who managed to be born into a normal family. I always got one or two slaps on the wrist if my dad noticed that I was secretly watching Aliens on the VHSN. So “parents” who don’t give a damn about how their child spends their time should be put in a corner themselves.

Well, I went too far with drugs. They are not so easy to get as a game with an inappropriate age limit 🙂
P.S. I still have the feeling that I conveyed the meaning of this message incorrectly..

Almost yes. But for the most part I meant in games: “foul language” and not too strong forms of violence (TWD is no longer suitable) like in the same Warface, CoD, BF was killed, and okay. No unnecessary details.
As for the erotic scenes, let it remain as it is..

Yes, I sometimes use such protection myself. And yet, we need to be more careful with education through games.
However, some ratings could be shifted. The same CoD 18+ Personally, I would give it 12+ (There is almost no particular cruelty there, by the age of 12 the brain will already be stronger and will normally perceive such things.) And so on…

usergate.ru/products/kindergate_parental_control/ – in more detail. It’s even possible to monitor your child’s correspondence on VKontakte and other ICQs.
So the problem is still with the parents.

I played Quake and Duke Nukem from the age of 6, then when GTA3 came out I also played Vice City. Hmm, am I crazy about this??

So “parents” who don’t give a damn about how their child spends their time should be put in a corner themselves.

Why are you even interested in this question?? In Russia, everyone wanted to give a shit about these restrictions. Everyone here played HL2 and many still did at release, but few were still 18 then, but no one had any problems buying it.

only my brother in Barnaul is given 50 rubles a day for breakfast and 50 for pocket expenses, but they gave me 10 for everything.

I had. But the problem was a little different – he could play GTA, but he asked his parents if he could go to a strip club 😀
Not allowed.

IO games – cool or not? First post!

What kind of io games?? These are multiplayer online games with simple graphics but exciting mechanics, which are usually located on sites in the domain zone .io.

The first swallows to hit the jackpot of popularity were the famous Agar.io and Slither.io and similar ones.

I am sure that when you hear that the name of a game has “io” at the end, you can already imagine its gameplay, level of graphics, etc. with high accuracy.d. Of course, not all io games are the same, but 99% of them can easily be classified into one of the conditional classes, the number of which is less than the fingers of two hands.

The letters “IO” at the end of the game’s name immediately create certain expectations for a gamer who was not born yesterday. It’s like McDonald’s. You don’t have to expect culinary masterpieces, but when you want something light and understandable, it’s perfect!

I love io games very much. Both as a gamer and as a person from the gaming industry. They, it seems to me, have opened a new level in the development of online games. Flash drives are the grandfather, and io games are a little incomprehensible and angular, but cool and original grandson. There are not enough beauties in io games compared to client multiplayer games, and this is only for the benefit of the gameplay. It is licked and sharpened, precisely because Hollywood effects cannot lure the user here. And the developer’s only hope is for exciting mechanics. Well, and on the user’s ability to retain.

The last one, by https://primeslots-casino.co.uk/games/ the way, is all right! Most io games are hard to tear yourself away from. Rapid progress is captivating, and it is very difficult to part with the top place in the hierarchy of this community, albeit a very limited one.

Another secret to creating a large audience in io games: they can run quickly (and even look about the same!) on any device – from powerful MacPros locked in the best studios in Cupertino, to an old Android phone in the Indian wilderness. This means that the user base will grow due to all user segments, mix and live their own lives. True unity without division by status, age, gender.

In general, users .io are quite citizens of the future wonderful society of mutual love, self-respect and laziness.

I structure the flow of thoughts:

Strengths

There are a bunch of alternative ways to monetize: game bonuses for viewing ads, regular ADFXC or ADFXG

It’s easy to distribute the game – there are many sites that will ask you to host them. It’s also easy to negotiate with tops

On the other hand, almost every plus turns into a minus.

If you forgot something, add heat in the comments!

In the coming posts I will review the latest AI games (not forgetting, of course, about other HTML5\WebGL projects), I will try to understand the best game mechanics and monetization techniques.

Best comments

Firstly, there’s not a word about the games themselves. Just empty chatter about nothing and some abstract judgments about
Secondly, IO are demos, and IO players are testers. It’s not so much entertainment as it is a testing ground

Is it worth it? How they decided to add hentai to visual novels

It’s no secret that in modern visual novels the absolute norm is to “refinish” the game after purchasing it on Steam or other stores. At least, I quite found myself in such a period.

But who ever decided that in a cute, wonderful game about a girl in a wheelchair who dreams of becoming an airplane pilot, it would be absolutely appropriate to suck the player out of a pleasant, romantic atmosphere and abruptly introduce hard (and sometimes not so hard) sex for 2 minutes… and then just as quickly return everything to normal, as if nothing had happened?

In Diana-senpai’s attempts to notice me, greetings ladies and gentlemen. My name is still Alex, I still adore octopuses and gorge myself on maple cheese

Disclaimer: all images are NOT taken from hentai, all scenes are NOT erotic!

I answer with my head

Here are a couple of pictures to get you in the mood. Everything is fine here, she just made cookies with a "secret" ingredient.

In this scene, the main character simply rubbed his back. In the sense of "than", what’s the difference??!

Firstly, the girl is not small, and secondly, he does not kiss but shares oxygen with her in space!

Let’s make it at least a little bit like the fact that we are doing research here out of pure scientific curiosity, first let’s determine who was the person who came up with the idea like “Let’s add pictures to the book and so that you can choose answer options once every half hour.”?»

To do this, you need to remember the game The Portopia Serial Murder Case – an adventure puzzle whose main task was to solve a murder case.

Disc with the American version of the game. Nobody thought about hentai back then. It was a great time.

But not as wonderful as the atmosphere of a busy city.

The crowded city in which a (haha) brutal murder took place.

Back in 1983, it was an attempt to introduce the genre of now classic American adventures to the Japanese audience, which Portopia, along with several colleagues, did an excellent job with.

At that time, the formation of the video game market was just beginning, and quests were able to popularize this hobby very well among the masses. And the transition from an exclusively text-based narrative format to a visual one showed good results: people became much more interested in reading a bunch of paragraphs on the screen, because now something was really happening there.

A little earlier, in 1982, a completely unrelated striptease poker game, Lolita: Yakyūken, was released on the PC-8800 in Japan.

The principle was quite simple: a https://spin-casino.uk/games/ beautiful girl (presumably named Lolita) sits opposite her and, every time you win the Japanese equivalent of the game “rock, paper, scissors,” she takes off an item of clothing. Quite a lot of such games were produced at that time (and no less now).

What’s also remarkable about Lolita is that it is the first officially recognized visual novel. At least that’s what the Visual Novel DataBase portal, which is one of the main registries of visual novels, claims.

Well, maybe she’s just hot, who knows??

Now this is suspicious.

Okay, that’s it, TURN OUT COME ON

Slowly the picture begins to take shape. We have a genre of quests and erotic games with anime girls, the only thing missing is someone who would combine it all together and create an exciting adventure with a horny girl in the middle. Who could it be.

Yes, you guessed right – it turned out to be Hideo Kojima!

Inspired by The Portopia Serial Murder Case, in 1988, a young Konami studio employee proposed the idea for the Snatcher project – a cyberpunk graphic adventure about police officers in a city of the future.

The plot is quite simple: Recently, reports began to appear about rebellious robots (they are called Snatchers here), who decided that it was a good idea to exterminate all people, remove their skin and put them on themselves. The main character, in turn, is looking for a way to prevent this.

Despite high marks from critics, the game turned out to be a commercial failure, as a result of which the ideas about a futuristic cinematic post-apocalypse with elements of fiction had to be put aside and switched to something simpler. For example, like a series like Metal Gear.

Game cover for Japan.

I hope there will be no obscenities here?

Meanwhile, in 1995, the wave of lust was gaining momentum, and therefore the game Eve: Burst Error was released from under the wing of the studio C’s Ware. Initially, it positioned itself as an eroge, but after a while everyone realized that the concept of a visual novel was somehow more suitable.

The plot follows two parallel investigations with two separate main characters. Kojiro is a private investigator tasked with finding a piece of art, while intelligence agent Marina must protect the daughter of a Japanese embassy employee. These two stories initially seem completely different, but gradually merge into a dark and mysterious thriller.

What is also noteworthy about the game is that at any moment in the game the narratives occur simultaneously, and you can switch between characters at least every minute, creating a unique gaming experience.

And of course, a lot of hot scenes also thoroughly stimulated dopamine receptors 🙂

One letter on the cover is clearly superfluous.

You guys have very big, juicy dialogues here.

During development, everyone was inspired by Hollywood cinema. What was popular then?? That’s right, Basic Instinct 🙂

Otherwise I’ll fall asleep with you!

For some time, visual novels were closely intertwined with the erotica genre, satisfying exclusively the needs of those who like to sharpen their pencil. The plot component was certainly important, but not so important that it was completely lost in it, leaving the erotic scenes as a small episode among the mountain of other events.

And then 2001 came and Ace Attorney came out.

And everyone rushed in all directions!

Thanks to this game, the world has pushed the boundaries of consciousness and pushed new possibilities into the genre.

Someone went down the path of gameplay and deepened the interactivity

Someone set out to conquer new horizons and offer an alternative experience

And someone. created a dating simulator with pigeons. aimed at a female audience. pi#&$%

To summarize, I would like to note: visual novels are a very niche genre.

And all the more interesting, in my opinion, is the fact that with all mankind’s love for reading, this genre has not yet completely taken over the planet. After all, if you think about it, in games of this genre, graphics and storytelling are perfectly combined, providing the author’s vision, but at the same time leaving room for the reader’s imagination. We were literally given the characters and their scene, but how they perform certain actions falls on the shoulders of the imagination of the person on the other side of the screen.

Although most likely this is the reason, simply due to my own attitude, I can rephrase this: the game does not provide either a full-fledged reading experience or a full-fledged author’s direction, being at the junction and not satisfying either of both needs.

In any case, I believe that extra creativity is never superfluous, and any endeavors can lead to something good. And considering that thanks to the human thirst for sex, such great things as electronic payments, streaming services and Fastum Gel ® have appeared in the world, it is quite possible that in the field of visual novels one day there will be an invention of something that will change our lives beyond recognition.

In the meantime, you can be content with an unusual setting, charismatic characters and fascinating stories. Well, those two minutes are also possible, the main thing is that no one enters the room, otherwise that’s the law of meanness..
